We will have as many Rounds as needed to fill all rosters.

The draft order reflects the results from the 200910 season.  The rookie/free agent draft will take place in our live draft room or by e-mail depending on the league preference. The Draft date will be set after the free agency period has started for the new season. We will have as many rounds as needed to fill each roster.  Some teams may not draft if they have already filled their roster in free agency.  (There will be no trading or cuts allowed in the draft) Once a teams roster is full, they will be done for the draft and will not be allowed pick again.

After the 2010 Rookie/Free Agent draft has been completed, the rosters will be locked until the week prior to the start of the season. Trading will then open that week as well per our league rules.

Trading will start one week prior to the start of the season when the leagues reopen for the 2010-11 season.

A reminder on what can be traded:
Active roster players, FD's, Future Draft picks only if you are paid in full for that season.
(You cannot trade the rights to retain a player, only the previous owner can retain a player)

Trading of Future Draft Picks (You will only be allowed to trade a future draft pick if you are paid in full for that season.  If you are not paid in full for that season, please do not submit the trade as it will not be sent out for a vote)  This will be strictly enforced so if you want to trade future draft picks, you should pay for your future years prior to submitting that kind of trade

Trading Submits:

All trade requests must be E-mailed to the Commissioner.  You must include your team name, player (s) being traded, Salaries of the players in the trade, team name that you are trading with, and the player (s) being acquired with their salaries.  Please include the salary of the players in the trade when submitting a trade or it will be sent back to you to resubmit. Trades must be submitted by both teams before the trade deadline each week. The trade deadline is week 12.  Rosters must be complete at all times and minimum positions requirements must be maintained. Once a trade is sent out for a vote by the commissioner, the trade is considered official and cannot be taken off the trade board until voted on.  The vote will determine the approval or disapproval. The salary of your team must never exceed the salary cap of 47 FD's.  Weekly trading is Tuesday at 9:00 AM EST through Thursday at 9:00 PM EST Each week during weeks 1 through 12. The season trade deadline is the Thursday prior to week 13.

Any player released in the 3rd period of free agency cannot be resigned by the team dropping the player until after the draft. This will prevent owner from dumping prime players and resigning them at low prices. This will also be the case in the draft.  A player cut in the draft cannot be resigned by the team who drops them unless they add him in free agency when the season starts.

POSITION ELIGIBILITY:
Position Eligibility will be as follows: It will be what the NBA.com site references players at.  (We are not a part of the NBA and are not affiliated with them in any way. This text link is used as they are a the best reference for basketball information.) We will only be using this site this year to define a players position.  Teams will need to confirm players positions at the completion of the Rookie/free agent draft.

Special Note: We will be evaluating the Eligibility prior to the start of the season to make sure players are listed for the position the qualify for each season. You may lock your players to positions once free agency starts by e-mailing the commissioner. Once the commissioner confirms the players position will be locked for that season.
