As you can see, your points will be accumulated each week based on your drivers finish. In addition, you will receive 15 points if your driver wins the pole of the race, 5 points if your driver leads a lap in the race, and 5 points if your driver leads the most laps.
All races must be official before scores will be counted. Any driver disqualified or penalized by the true official scoring by the Nextel league will be the official ruling on points. One week after a race has been completed, the race results will be considered official even if the Nextel decides to change a drivers scoring. Drivers only loose race points if it is towards the race and not from there overall standings.
